Being a Mom I know how hard it can be sometimes and I also know how much I appreciate having others around who can relate. As a church family we believe it takes not just parents to raise a child but a community.
This group was started so that Moms have other Moms to talk with about God, share stories and offer support. In the craziness of parenthood sometimes it is just nice to have another adult to talk to.
We must not forget the Children either. This group is just as much for them as it is the Moms. Children need interaction with other children to develop basic relational skills and most importantly to have fun. Keeping our children connected will keep us connected and in turn we can reach out into our community and offer other Moms support.
Proverbs 31:25-31
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
26 When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
27 She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.
28 Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
29 “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
31 Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
